The app is a fun choice for those who can’t get enough of the CW’s regular series, including 90210, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, America’s Next Top Model and others.
Across the top of the main page of the app is a horizontal scrolling bar that includes each of the networks shows. Tap on one, and then you can chose between cast tweets and fan tweets.
Cast tweets come from the likes of America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks — “I’m jealous of people that can write computer code and chicas with no cellulite. What are u jealous of?” – and 90210 actor Trevor Donovan – “I know the toast is going to pop out of the toaster . . . but it still surprises me . . . like that game Operation did . . .”
Most of the fan tweets are responses or questions relating to the cast tweets. If you’re particularly keen on one cast member, you can opt to following him or her. You can also activate a notification system wherein you’re alerted each time there’s a tweet from a cast member of a particular show.
App users can access their Facebook and Twitter accounts via the app. And the app also connects users with related Facebook fan pages, the CWTV app, the Hellcats app and others.
