The database powering the app is remarkable – with more than 130,000 items pre-loaded. Plus, adding items to your grocery list is easy – just scan the bar code, search for the product or manually enter it.
When building your shopping lists, you can assign items to a specific store or any store. Grocery IQ also tells you what aisle the product is in, helping those of us who can’t quite remember what items are where.
As you add items to your list, you can mark quantities and make notes. The “favorites” and “history” (your past lists) make it easy to add the staples you buy every week.

Drawbacks for Grocery IQ are few. However, the ability to sync lists between multiple members of the household would be a big help, as would a way to note which products have coupons.
