Should suggestive hand gestures and porn-y music comprise your ideal game for iPad, then look no further than Fingle. I haven’t seen too many iPad games that require two players on one device, but this is what Fingle asks, and it adds up to a potentially raucous party game if you’re comfortable tangling hands with friends (or perhaps strangers).
Across more than 50 levels, you and your pal will each take a side, one yellow, one white and use your hands — or only one each for increased difficulty — to move colored blocks onto their moving targets. The premise is simple, but the movements are complex. And your hands will meet. A lot. In potentially blush-inducing manner. With a soundtrack straight out of a ’70s porn flick. Yeah, I went there, and so did the app’s development team.
What I liked most about Fingle is that it was actually fun to play. I can see it being a hit at parties or ideal as an icebreaker at an awkward meet-up. The levels vary in difficulty, especially if your hands are of unmatched size, and at one point my Fingle partner and I gave up in a fit of laughing frustration.
As long as you don’t expect to play Fingle solo (and although you could, don’t be a weirdo), it’s more than worth a buck. Plus, if you need to keep it safe for work, you can always turn the music off.
