If you are a fan of the quintessential Cosmo quiz (from the very girlie Cosmopolitan magazine) then you’ll love, love, love the free Is He Cheating? app. Despite the tacky laced-covered boobs gracing the app, this iDetective app is pretty hilarious and probably helpful to a few clueless women out there. This iPhone app is a lot more productive than waiting for the next Tiger Woods affairs voicemail.
First, answer the 26 yes or no questions to calculate the score to see if, indeed, your man is cheating. Mine isn’t, at least not according to the app, thank God. If you aren’t so lucky, the app offers you some advice on how to handle your grief with grace, i.e. screaming, crying and throwing things are what you do when you are alone.
I was extremely amused, yet impressed, by the app’s so called “Pineapple Theory.” Summed up: Some people like pineapple, some don’t (in other words: some boys will like you, some won’t, get over it). I wasn’t so impressed with the “smart girl spy tips.” Spying isn’t classy, ladies, so please don’t take this part seriously (good for a good giggle only).
The app even has an extremely clever revenge button allowing you to type in your revenge fantasies, then strike the fantasy with the provided virtual match and watch it go up in flames. Much classier than playing with fire a la the late TLC singer Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes.
