There are a lot of radio iPhone apps out there right now; I have my favorites, and know which ones I can live without. When I read about the Once you have some recordings you like, you can move your top picks to the “Favorites” folder, and with all of the recordings; you can play them, move them (to another folder), edit them (highlight), or be led to the iTunes store, where you can buy more music from the same artist. On the plus side, there are a lot of genres to choose from when looking for a radio station. You can search by alternative, golden oldies, reggae, and more.
Once you figure out how to save recordings and potentially alter them, that’s pretty great too, but it wasn’t easy to get there. A clearer explanation of how this app works would have made it more fun; or maybe if the app were more intuitive to start, you wouldn’t need such clear directions. With an app this savvy, making it user-friendly is half the battle.
