An update to IMDb’s iOS app tops today’s list of Fresh iPhone Apps, letting its users check out trailers and keep up to date on entertainment news. Read about it and other cool new apps below.
IMDb update (iPhone, iPad) Free
IMDb’s free app makes it easy to find information about movies and actors, as well as showtimes and nearby theaters. This update adds those features for a bunch of other countries, including Canada and Australia, as well as countries in Europe.
Following IMDb’s website redesign, the app now features trailers and entertainment news on its home page. You can use Facebook to log-in to the app, and now use the app itself to log-in to an IMDb Pro account, as well.
Pushboard (iPhone) $1.99
Download the software that goes with Pushboard’s iPhone app and you can quickly share short notes between your computer and your mobile device.
Use the app to bounce quick notes to yourself for use later, without having to retype them on your iPhone’s virtual keyboard. It’s a quick and easy way to send recipes, shopping lists, reminders and other notes to yourself for when you get out in the world and can’t remember if it was brown sugar or white you needed to pick up from the store. Seems pretty handy.
Apartments, Homes @ Rent.com (iPhone) Free

The company’s new iPhone app syncs up with users’ Rent.com account to help you keep current on the properties you’ve been vetting on the web.
The app lets you pull up different properties and quickly call or email the contacts connected with each listing, and you can also access Rent.com’s lease form after you’ve settled on a property to receive your $100 Visa reward card from the company.
