The newest point-and-click adventure title from Telltale Games is also an official game of the famous 1993 Steven Spielberg movie, telling a fresh story in the Jurassic Park universe. Jurassic Park: The Game takes place in parallel to the film, presenting the story of what happens to Dennis Nedry’s Barbasol can, the one he used to steal embryos from the park and lost when he was attacked by dinosaurs.
The first episode of the five-part Jurassic Park: The Game follows Gerry Harding, the park’s veterinarian, as he and his daughter attempt to leave the island after the power goes out. It also focuses on other characters like Nima, a smuggler sent to recover Nedry’s embryos. The game is marked with fast-action “quick time events” that require players to quickly enter touch commands in order to dodge dinosaurs, as well as solve puzzles. This game only runs on Apple’s iPad 2.
