The E! Network’s news, photos and video from all kinds of red carpet events — including the 2011 Golden Globes — straight to your iPhone with Live From the Red Carpet. The app gives you all the latest celebrity news headlines on its front page, and lets you find stories divided by which award show they come from.
But news isn’t all that’s available: you can check out video and images from lots of red carpet events quickly and easily by tapping various tabs. Red Carpet includes information about the award shows coming up this year, plus all of them from last year, and even includes movie premieres. This Twitter client ignores all the text that goes in your Twitter timeline and just pulls out the photos people have shared using the social network. The app presents all the photos people are posting in large thumbnails that you can view right in the timeline, and all the photos get additional information attached, like any text that goes with the image. Geolocation data gets channeled into a minimap that appears with the photo as well.
You can save and share photos you enjoy, and you can also send photos of your own to Twitter from your iPhone. The app supports use of the iPhone back-facing camera (not the front, sorry) and lets you fire shots straight to the social network after choosing one of six services to use to post your shot.

It’s surprising how much information is available in GamesRadar’s iPhone app, which allows users to search for video games they’re playing on their PCs or consoles and find cheats and walkthroughs to help them through their games. Walkthroughs include written information and videos to help relay strategy and secret information — all to help you get further and find more in your video games.
Walkthroughs and cheats are broken into different categories to help you find what you’re looking for. You can search by name and save games and their information as your “favorites” to pull them up later. Popular games are added to the “Top Games” category, while the guides that are the most popular have their own “Top Guides” section. Players looking for an extra edge and a little help will get a whole lot out of this app, and it’s all for free.
