Tweetbot – A Twitter Client with Personality (iPhone, iPad) $1.99
Tear into Twitter with Tweetbot, a new Twitter client with a clean interface and a lot of features. It makes use of the iPhone’s technology by employing gesture controls to move through status updates, and includes other helpful controls accessible when you tap tweets or page through timelines.
Tweetbot supports multiple timelines and allows you to link to other cool apps, like Read It Later and Instapaper. It can fire off Push notifications and also allows you to attach photos and videos to your tweets. Tweetbot will even save drafts of updates without sending them.
HP ePrint Service (iPhone, iPad) Free
Printer maker HP builds printers with a function called “ePrint,” which connects printers to the Internet and allows multiple computers to network with them wherever they are. Some printing service companies, like Fed-Ex Office, have added ePrint printers to their stores, and now HP has rolled out an ePrint app that lets users print straight from their iPhones and iPads over the Internet.
Obviously, you need an ePrint printer or a facility that includes one — but HP ePrint Service allows you to search for print stores with ePrint nearby and send them your print jobs remotely. It’s easy to do and takes only a few steps to fire off your documents from wherever you are.
dealnews App (iPhone, iPad) Free
Use your iPhone’s GPS capabilities to search for all kinds of deals in your area — be they local stores or bigger chains. You can search for deals and coupons by category or keyword, or even by the store in which you’re looking to shop, and then save the deals you like for later if you’re not ready to check it out immediately.
You can create Push alerts about interesting deals so you’ll be notified when they show up, and dealnews allows you to share interesting deals and coupons with your friends on Facebook and Twitter as well. Dealnews will even throw you coupons for the stores you’re looking for, so you can use your iPhone to scan them while you’re in the checkout line.
