Fling!, available from CandyCane LLC on the iPhone or iPod Touch, is a puzzle game that’s sort of an update on a game of marbles. It’s a puzzle game in which you fling little fuzzy balls into one another to knock them off the board. The game is won when you have only one ball left.
With a variety of playing modes, this game will keep your attention for a long time. Players can play in a free mode, in which the game keeps track of your score and even allows you to go back and solve puzzles you couldn’t before. There is also an arcade mode where you race against a clock and a challenge mode where you race against your personal best.
Users can fling a fuzzy ball into another, as long as there is one open space between them, and the balls can be flung either horizontally or vertically. The levels get progressively more difficult as you complete them, and according to the developers, you’ll never get the same puzzle twice.
Getting set up and playing is easy, and the game doesn’t take much time to master — at least, until the levels start getting harder. But the early levels are easy enough for users to get a handle on the game to start.
While it’s not a complex game, Fling is fun all the same. The music is nice and the visuals are really good as well. This is a great app for fans of puzzle games and is as easy as a flick of the finger.
