Frommer’s Travel Tools
This free app is a gateway to get you to purchase Frommer’s Travel Guides from the app store. Having said that, it also has some cool tools as the title of the app suggests. My favorite is the trivia game (based on world knowledge), the packing list, and the postcard creator (share via facebook or email). It’s worth the download and it’s free.
Foodspotting
FoodSpotting uses your location settings and scans for food! It includes user photos and ratings to help you make more informed choices. It also gives restaurant info and even the menu under the guides section. My only question is, where are the hours of operation? I’m sure this app must have it. It’s just difficult to find it, or you have to go to the restaurants website.?

This is a really fun app that let’s you build your dream trip. You can do it manually, or you can just spin the globe and where it stops, nobody knows . . . Wherever it does stop either by closing your eyes and putting your finger down or after it slows down; the app will show you the nearest countries and the attractions of that country. You also have the ability to get a detailed description of the attraction and to book it! This is a useful and fun app!
