You’ve probably guessed what this app does – it scans through the contacts on your iPhone and finds a way to clean them up.
When you initially configure your iPhone, it scans through common contact lists on your computer and web e-mail accounts such as Yahoo! Mail and Gmail. Many people use more than one e-mail address or phone number for different functions. Contacts Cleaner scans through your lists in search of duplicates, merges them together, and trims up your contacts list.

Taking into account geometry and careful aim, Doodle Food Expedition gives you control of a cannon and charges you with shooting food packets over a “war zone” to the other side. Basically, this means shooting a ball from one side of the screen to the other.
Certain objects will reflect the ball, meaning you to have to think about angles and bounces to get it past other objects that will destroy it. For a quick, easy, but surprisingly deep game, there’s no better price than free.
iTower – Arcade Game (iPhone), Free (was $0.99)
Here’s a simple arcade game that requires only quick reflexes and coordination. You might recognize iTower from the arcade – this game of timing and reflexes is like one of those old-school machines you pump quarters into in hopes of winning a big prize.
As you play, a group of colored blocks moves in a horizontal line back and forth along a grid. Tap the screen and the blocks freeze. Time your taps so that the second line stops exactly on top of the first to make a stack. Try and get as high as you can, but tap at the wrong time and the new line won’t be aligned with the stack. You’ll lose a block off your line, so stacking higher will get progressively harder.
Travel
VacationSplit (iPhone), Free (was $0.99)
It can be awkward going on vacation with friends. Keeping costs evenly-split makes everyone feel better, but this is often a hard topic to broach. Luckily, you can just pull out your iPhone and show who owes what to whom to keep costs equal.
Using VacationSplit, you can keep track of what each person in your vacation group is spending, and what it was they are paying for. The app keeps running totals to determine who owes money to the other people in the group.
