This iPhone spin-off of the console and PC first-person squad shooter Brothers in Arms franchise has some very cool features for 99 cents. Chief among them is multiplayer support for up to five players, both over local Bluetooth connections, or on the Internet using Wi-Fi.
Along with Gameloft live support for achievements, you’ll also get to power through 13 levels of World War II-inspired skirmishes, from a franchise acclaimed for its attention to detail and research. Get this cinematic first- and third-person shooter on the cheap while you can.
Need for Speed Undercover (iPhone, iPad) $0.99 (was $4.99)
A new Need for Speed — Hot Pursuit — just hit the App Store a few days ago, but you can snag its high-quality racing predecessor on sale for another few days.
The game is filled with different ways to play, like a head-to-head mode and a cop takedown mode that has you using your street racer as a weapon against pursuing police. You’ll cut through a total of 24 different missions for your dollar here, with lots to do as you customize your vehicle to pull down better times.
