We’ve got a couple of cool free apps in today’s Download Discounts. One could help you seem smarter with a little help from William Shakespeare, and the other could help you save money, with the help of a guy named Craig. Read about them both below.

It can be annoying to choose a password when registering for a new service online, especially when the password requires weird combinations of letters and numbers. But those passwords are stronger than simple words, and if you need some proof to see just how strong (or not) a password can be, check out Password Strength.
You can run passwords through Password Strength to get a read on how strong they are, as well as get a first-hand impression of how quickly your password can be beaten. The app will help generate decent passwords for you as well, and let you email them to yourself or others in order to keep them safe from prying eyes.

You know how, whenever a romantic comedy leading man wants to win over the film’s heroine and love interest, he quotes romantic but somewhat incomprehensible Shakespeare to her? He does it because it works — it’s a tested movie fact that if you’re trying to get a woman to go out with you, being able to pull a quote from the greatest English playwright ever will seal the deal.
To that end, To Quote Shakespeare has gone free, and it groups lots of Shakespeare’s most famous quotes from all his plays into one place, by category. Here you can scroll through all the best lines about love, death, ghosts and murder, see where they’re from, and then say them out loud as if you know them from memory. You’ll seem really smart.
Craigly for iPhone/iPod (iPhone) Free (was $0.99)
Craigly makes it easier for you to browse through the myriad classified ads on Craigslist.com by changing the way listings are displayed to make them more mobile friendly. You can blast through listings with an image-only display option, search multiple geographic regions at once, and have posts displayed on a Google Map.
You don’t have to leave Craigly to respond to ads either, because it provides you with in-app email, as well as the ability to make notes about listings and save them for later. Craigly even has Twitter support. I don’t know why you’d need that, but it just goes to show how complete and useful Craigly can be — and it’s free.
