Chainr (iPhone) Free (was $2.99)

With Chainr, you can capture various forms of multimedia and link them together to make a stream of information. Tell a story and give instructions using the app’s slideshow play format; reverse the chain if you need to, and share it online with other people using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Chainr supports all kinds of different media, including text, videos, music and photos.

Chains in Chainr can be used for a lot of different things. The app’s developers suggest keeping a journal or sending messages to others, but you can also use it to capture the steps you take as you disassemble something complicated like a computer, so that you can reverse the chain to see how to put it back together again. The app is free for a limited time, so grab it now and start messing around to see what Chainr is capable of.

Facebook Chat with Multimedia (iPhone) Free (was $0.99)

Bring Facebook’s Chat function to your phone with this app, which integrates several other multimedia functions in the chat experience.
