Take a look down the scope in iSniper 3D, which is free for a limited time, along with the other two apps featured on today’s Download Discounts. QuickButton allows you to create custom buttons for your home screen that act as shortcuts to your favorite fuctions (like sending a quick text to a specific contact, for example). And with Voicemod, you can record and alter your voice and send it to your friends (or enemies) and share it on Twitter and Facebook.
iSniper 3D (iPhone) Free (was $2.99)
The sequel to iSniper, you’ll pick up your rifle and take on terrorists once again in iSniper 3D as you work through its storyline with fully 3D battlefields, upgradeable weapons, and tilt or tap controls for ultimate control of your aim.
The game includes three different gameplay modes — story, which is the game’s default campaign; arcade, which requires you to earn points throughout and try to set high scores; and challenge, in which you attempt to make tough shots given to you by the game. You also get three adjustable difficulties, in case things are too difficult (or too easy).
QuickButton (iPhone) Free (was $1.99)
You don’t need an Internet connection to use QuickButton, which already sets it apart from lots of other apps in competition with it. QuickButton lets you create custom buttons for your iPhone’s home page, allowing you to create one-button shortcuts for sending messages or calls to specific people or write emails.
It only takes about three clicks to create a custom button, and if you make a custom button that takes you straight to a contact or call, the app will assign the picture you’ve got with your contact as the new button’s icon. QuickButton is free until March 6, so take advantage of it while you can.
Voicemod (iPhone, iPad) Free (was $0.99)
As you might have already guessed, Voicemod lets you record your voice and modify it with various alterations to make it… well, weird and spooky. Among the alterations you can use, which are adjustable with a touch-controlled slider, are “Dark Father,” “Robot,” “Exorcist” and “Megaphone,” but there are nine mods in all.
Once you’ve picked a mod, you can record your altered voice and share it with others using Facebook, Twitter and email. You can also send goofy voice messages to friends, and save your recordings to iTunes when you sync your device. Updates coming in the future should allow you to save your recordings as ringtones, too.
