I’m a product of the “Clueless” high school-era, so when I downloaded the Clueless iPhone app (99 cents) I had to look up the movie in my IMBD iPhone app to see what year we were dealing with here. Yes, the Clueless iPhone app is 15 years too late. I mean, Cher (the main character played by actress Alicia Silverstone) was saving herself for Luke Perry, so since “90210” is back, I guess “Clueless” can have an iPhone app, but this whole thing sniffs of Paramount trying to enter the digital age.
This puzzle-type game takes you through the day in the life of Cher as she assists fellow students with wardrobe upgrades, finding the perfect love match and locating the perfect accessory to complete their look. For a strategy game, I mean, it’s like, really easy. Even being timed, I aced it on my first try, so I would recommend this iPhone app for teenagers 13 years old and under (unless you just want to feel nostalgic and remember what it was like to be Cher in the 90’s movie).
Overall, the iPhone app has an attractive design that Cher herself would be proud of, and it’s pretty affordable, even for a 13-year-old at only 99 cents. Parents, you can safely allow your daughter to download this iPhone app; just don’t be surprised if she wants a ride to the mall when she’s done playing!
