The app is organized so you can look up senators and representatives by your location or their state, party, name or class. Browsing through the bobble heads brings some comical revelations. For instance, did you know that 49 reps have some form of the first name John? Or that Hawaii’s Dist. 1 Representative looks shockingly like Santa Claus? My new favorite Congress member is Senator Crapo from Idaho.
So, besides amusing yourself with the bobbling caricatures of each representative, the app. provides a direct link to their Web sites and contact information, including all of their offices. So if you have a bone to pick about
something going down in your neighborhood, contact your representative directly from this app.
I work for a non-profit human service organization as my day job, and this app will prove very helpful in contacting the representatives in our service areas when issues arise. Getting involved with your local government isn’t fun, but it is important and this app makes it all the more bearable.
