Reeder for iPad
I like the iPhone app, and just like that one the iPad app syncs with Google Reader and allows the same “mark as read” options as you’d have on the site.

It’s still not perfect since I can’t bring in all the blogs I want – but for viewing Facebook, Twitter, Smitten Kitchen (my favorite food blog) and other news sources, it’s a beautiful way to keep up!
