There are plenty of apps that will load your pictures to Facebook. I haven’t, however, come across a great deal of them that will load your videos. We always have our trusty YouTube uploader, which is great, however it’s limited. Blipsnips for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad running iOS 4.0 or later is a great video uploader from your mobile device to Facebook.
Blipsnips for Facebook is a great video uploader that allows you to tag friends, comment, add titles, and even add captions to your video. The app is extremely simple to use. Everything is self-explanatory. It has a nice web 2.0 feel to it, and everything works as expected. The user interface is intuitive, and nice to look at.
One of the things I found most enjoyable about this app is the “Tutorial” screen that pops up when you create your first blipsnip. It overlays the interface with a black splash screen that points to all the buttons, showing you what each does. When you finally hit the “Upload” button, the app closes out and proceeds to upload the video in the background. More than being highly functional, Blipsnips was enjoyable to use.
Although there isn’t much to the app itself, it’s all you need. If you upload videos to Facebook or are looking for a great reason to start, this app is it. I would highly recommend it, and it’s free.
