AT&T Voicemail Viewer app gets the message

When I first saw this app, I thought, “we already have a voicemail app built into iOS.” However, this app is for your AT&T landlines; or more likely, VOIP lines, at your home or business. Yes, now with AT&T Voicemail Viewer and your iOS device, you can easily view, listen, and return calls from your home/office voicemail box from a remote location with a visual voicemail interface.

If you know how to use visual voicemail on your iPhone, you will need no introduction to this app, for you are old friends. The voice mails appear in a list, much like your email or SMS inbox. Here, you can tap the arrow to the right to see the details and time of call. At the bottom, you have “Call Back” and “Delete” buttons, for quick action regarding the recording. To the left of the recordings, you have the play/pause button. That’s it– full visual voicemail functionality for your home or office AT&T phone lines.

The only thing that they could have done to make this an absolutely perfect app would be to include functionality for a second phone line. If you have two home phone lines for any reason, you are out of luck for one of them at the moment. If you have a business and a home line, you can download AT&T Voicemail Viewer (Work) and have your respective voicemail in-boxes there on your device, side-by-side.

If you use AT&T phone service at your home or office, you will want this app. It makes voicemail management that much easier and hey, it’s free. What’s not to like?
