Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference begins in two weeks in San Francisco. The annual event often coincides with new hardware and software announcements from Apple, sometimes major, sometimes not, but always interesting.
Today, Apple launched a dedicated app for the event called WWDC 2012. The free app features a detailed schedule, daily news and photos, a map of Moscone West (the conference center where the event takes place), plus the ability for attendees to favorite specific sessions.
Expectations for WWDC are high this year. iOS 6 is likely to be revealed, and we’ve heard rumors of a new Apple TV device, too. Could Apple even announce a smaller “iPad Mini?” Some experts have claimed such a device is currently being tested.
Whatever emerges from WWDC next month, we’ll be sure to keep you informed. In the meantime, Apple’s WWDC 2012 app is likely to be a useful companion.
