Appolicious this week expanded its offerings to iPhone app and Android app enthusiasts by acquiring professional review websites AppVee.com and AndroidApps.com.
Launched in the summer of 2008 shortly after the debut of the iTunes App Store, AppVee.com pioneered the practice of publishing independent text and video reviews of iPhone apps. More recently, AndroidApps.com has emerged as a leading source of reviews and analysis for apps developed for Google’s Android Market. As part of the acquisition, AppVee reviewers will continue to write for both sites in addition to Appolicious. AppVee currently publishes more than 1,100 video app reviews.
