Apple’s WWDC to begin June 6

With a promise to “unveil the future of iOS and Mac OS”, Apple will commence this year’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference on June 6 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

While the five-day conference is targeted to developers and engineers and includes more than 100 technical sessions that will introduce new programming features, the WWDC is also traditionally the time that Apple unveils its newest iPhone.

Noticeably, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing (rather than CEO Steve Jobs) was quoted in the announcement.

Stay tuned later in the day and in the weeks and months ahead to prognostication and analysis heading into Apple’s most significant event of the year.
