If you didn’t pre-order an iPad early enough for delivery today, and think you might be above waiting in line for a few to several hours to pick up your device at the Apple Store, think again.
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was spotted this morning at the Apple Store in Century City, California’s Westfield Mall lining up for a shiny new device. A video interview captured by What’s Trending With Shira Lazar explores Waz’s thoughts on the new iPad, Apple perhaps one day becoming a trillion dollar company, and the passing and legacy of his friend and co-founder Steve Jobs.
It’s not surprising that a man whose life is “driven by apps” got out of bed a little early to grab the newest standard in app consumption.
As Woz told Lazar:
“When we started, we knew that the world was going to change in a lot of ways. A lot of things that used to be mechanical were going to become electronic. We didn’t have any idea what this new revolution with mobile and smartphones starting with the iPhone. It’s really a computer in your hand. Then when the App Store came I found that my life is driven by these apps… We knew it was a revolution but we didn’t know it was going to be this intense, this major once chips could put an entire computer on one chip.”
It’s all about the apps…
