Before they began charging last fall, the Wall Street Journal was the first app that i tapped into on my iPhone. On the iPad, I think it will be worth the reported $17.99 per month charge.

I love the fact that the developer of this $4.99 application is pushing to get the iPad app ready by Day One and will make modifications along the way. Another app that seems destined for the tablet computing.
NYTimes – Breaking Local, National & World News
I already prefer reading the New York Times on my iPhone to Kindle. With the iPad, I may finally abandon my Sunday subscription to the print edition. This is a revolution.

I love the fact that the company that really introduced me to the commercial Internet is also going to be a pioneer on the iPad. Loving what the Entertainment and Finance channels look like.
Kindle – Read Books, eBooks, Magazines, Newspapers & Textbooks
Beginning Saturday, there will still be a place for Kindle – on your iPad. Time will tell if the iPad is ultimately a Kindle Killer and if Amazon still elects to distribute over Apple devices. For now, why not enjoy everything Kindle has to offer, but on a superior device?
