Passover kicks off on Monday night, and the pitter-pattering of the Easter bunny isn’t far behind.So how best to go about preparing for the two of the most significant holidays on the Jewish and Christian calendars? Passover
If you’re hosting a Seder dinner for family and friends, you have to have the menu right. The Passover Food Street app ($0.99) includes recipes for soups, salads, appetizers and main courses, all keeping with tradition, of course. So get ready for some gefilte fish loaf!
No Passover would be complete without a reading of the Haggadah, and the $2.99 Haggadah app will keep things short and sweet. This abbreviated version will ensure that you fulfill God’s commandment and “tell your son” about how the Jewish people were liberated from Egypt. For those who prefer the unabridged version, there’s the iHagada app available in Hebrew and English for $0.99.
And in order to prepare for the reading of the singing of the four questions, there’s the iMahNishtanah app ($0.99). The app allows you to read along while listening to a recording of the questions being chanted. There is also Hebrew-to-English flash cards, and a recorder so you can tape yourself practicing.

Easter
Holy Week — which culminates on Easter Sunday — is, for Christians, the most sacred time of the year. Among the traditions is the Stations of the Cross, wherein the faithful recount (and sometimes act out) Jesus’ walk from the Garden of Gethsemane to the summit of Calvary.
