Each level consists of you jumping off buildings and weaving your way around obstacles before parachute-landing on a specified platform. You get points by kissing and hugging the various structures on the way down, meaning being near and staying near them, respectively. You’ll also get the chance to thumbs up or flip off supporters and protestors of your jumping, as well as leave your mark on specified buildings via spray-paint. Tons of point-bonus glass panes and big point bonus birds can be crashed through, among various other mechanics. You’re rated out of five stars per level, and the more stars you get, the more teeth you get, which is just your currency to unlock new levels and bonus videos.
In order to purchase a level, you must have the required number of teeth and also have previously purchased any adjacent level. Bonus videos depicting new mechanics or just random funny stuff can also be unlocked. Game Center leaderboards are supported, but oddly enough, they only apply to a few select levels, limiting your competitive space. The entire game is wrapped in Dejobaan Games and Owlchemy Lab’s rather raunchy and occasionally awkward sense of humor, and it’s really fantastic. This is a game that oozes style and originality. The only controls for this game are of the tilt variety, but they’re done perfectly, always auto-recalibrating for each level you play. There are some options to tweak, however, such as sensitivity. This iOS Universal title is available for three dollars at the time of this review, and it is more than worth it, especially considering how much cheaper it is than the Steam version. Definitely don’t miss out on this bone breaking, glass obliterating, vertigo-inducing good time!
