The 1,001 Murphy Laws app (99 cents) touts “the most ridiculous laws of the universe put on one place.” While the maker of the app has questionable grammar skills, the laws in the app are highly entertaining and, for the most part, accurate.
For instance, who hasn’t had this happen: “The longer ahead you plan a special event, and the more special it is, the more likely it is to go wrong.” And, if you see a law you like, the iPhone app has a favorite function, so you can always have your preferred sayings a tap away.
With this app, you’ll always have a clever way to answer your family, friends and co-workers when they bore you to death with their latest life stories. Just tell your boasting brother, “If everything seems to be coming your way, you’re probably in the wrong lane.” And then, walk away. He’ll be stumped and quiet for minutes, at least.
However, I don’t recommend that you tell your boss, “If you have to ask, you’re not entitled to know.” Some Murphy Laws are better off read and not said.
